Nursing Scholarship Fund
The Sequoia Hospital Foundation is privileged to honor Dr. William Kennett and other beloved hospital friends by providing named scholarships for student nurses in the Sequoia Hospital/San Francisco State University Bachelor of Science Nursing program at Canada College. You may contribute to the scholarship fund online or, if you prefer to mail or fax your donation to our office, please use our convenient downloadable contribution form.
In 2008, The Sequoia Hospital Foundation, in partnership with Sequoia Hospital and our community of generous donors, is privileged to honor Dr. Kennett and his family by providing three $12,500 scholarships to help fund the cost of attendance for three student nurses who exemplify and have demonstrated a commitment to delivering family-oriented, bedside care.
We are delighted to announce that two additional $12,500 scholarships will be awarded this year; the first graciously donated by Marjorie Martin in memory of her husband, Paul Martin; and the second generously donated by Bob and Sue O’Donnell.
In addition to the five $12,500 scholarships, we will again award two additional partial scholarships; one in honor of Dr. Fred Marcus, Medical Oncologist, funded by Bob Hammer and the Have A Ball Foundation; and the second in memory of Peter Uccelli, a gift from his wife, Paula Uccelli.
